- Training records. Drills, certifications, and company training all need documentation.
Most adults type around 40 words per minute; professional typists reach 80-100. Everyone speaks at 130-150. Some professions are borderline cases for dictation. This one is not, for a few concrete reasons:
The narrative is chronological speech already. A good incident narrative reads like a clear verbal account: dispatched at this time, arrived to find this, did this, cleared at this time. On Scene and at the Station: the iPhone

A Note on Privacy
Incident reports touch addresses, medical details, and sometimes ongoing investigations, so it is fair to ask where dictated text goes. Will it work with our records-management system?
